This project is a bit special because that’s the largest and most expensive thing I have ever built… and also because I’m living in it.
The overall design is loosely based on Tinyhousebuild.com‘s design for the exterior aspect. However, we increased the walls, floor and ceiling thickness to meet the minimum requirements for the Canadian north. The width of the house (10.5 ft) is also larger than traditional tiny houses.
Some of the particularities of our house include:
- Lunos e2 neo HRV
- Unique 24″ propane range
- 65 gallons water tank
- Separett Villa 9210 compost toilet
- Grizzly stove by Cubic mini wood stoves
- Coway air purifier
- Whole house runs on 15A extension cord
