I started oil painting in 2003 when my uncle showed me a few tricks. I started with still life models in order to practice technique and then tried a few portraits and landscapes.
As a red-green colour blind person, I find landscapes to be the hardest so I tend to favour portraits and scenes with a dominance of ocre and blues.
