I always wanted to create a hackerspace. By hackerspace, I mean a place where people can meet, share ideas and learn new skills.

Recently, someone from the Economic Development branch of the Yukon Government sent me an email to let me know he was trying to setup the first Makerspace in the Yukon. I was of course very pleased by the news and I offered to bring some creations to the open house on Tuesday 14th.

I will bring my CNC, the star tracker, an upcycled spinning wheel and my wooden clock. If you’re a maker, inventor, tinkerer or crafter, feel free to meet other makers at the event.
